Put a camera in front of me, and I'll get excited and start smiling, idk why, can't help it.d If I was elected the mayor of one of the most famous cities in the world and I was constantly meeting celebrities and getting to cool stuff and whatnot, I don't think I could stop smiling. That's just me tho, I'm not mamdani, but I'm just saying someone that smiles a lot might not necessarily be faking it, some of us are easily excitable. |

Could also be a generally happy guy but like it does seem he doesn't get the luxury of being grumpy or cold in any capacity lest the sharks smell the blood in the water. |

Are you scowling when you go into an interview? Do you mean mug your colleagues when you start a meeting? And you know what - that doesn't mean its an act. Mamdani kinda just seems like a generally light hearted person, he's already got a good life, beautiful wife, rap career and now he's in a position to actually help the city he loves and has been successful in positively effecting people's day-to-day with his policies. For two presidential cycles Reddit supported a Bernie candidacy. Reddit has supported AoC and Ilhan Omar. Mamdani getting elected as mayor of the largest city in America is a massive win for progressives, and has given a lot of people hope about progressives winning more important elections in the future. So naturally Reddit, a platform that has historically leaned progressive, is stoked. |
