Literally one of the funniest characters ive seen on
screen in a long time

Bird blindness is a serious condition!

I was bird blind until age 30, when my bird eye
magically decided to open. It was like discovering an
entire new world around me. Before that I couldnt tell
you the difference between a crow and a myna, nor a
robin with a sparrow.
/u/Shazvox
...birds aren't real...
/u/Staff_Senyou
Obviously. That's a bald eagle

He made the entire season worth it.
/u/nova46
I really thought he was fucking with them at first, but
as the season went on I realized he was serious 😂 His
character had me rolling, fantastic casting.
/u/Vision9074
I'm curious now if it was a bit from Tim that they
decided to run with, or if it was part of the script.
/u/Over-Analyzed
When he couldn't shoot the eagle. 🦅

And you almost got Titties killed

I think it was a hummingbird

TITTIES COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!
/u/AllTheWayToParis
It's a Common Myna, I think.
/u/BaabyBear
Definitely a myna bird
/u/arthurdentstowels
Is it legal to film Mynas in public?
/u/Marwaimusoont
It is even legal to kill them at some places.
/u/MontagAbides
Definitely a Myna. They are very smart, and have
demonstrated problem solving abilities a bit like crows.
/u/uselessscientist
Indian Myna, and they're invasive fuckers. Steal the
nests of native birds and destroy the eggs/chicks.

Unless you're in India, if course, in which case
they're non invasive fuckers
/u/hiro111
That's exactly what this is.
/u/Worleybeard
Right? It's clearly Batman!

/u/ignatious__reilly
Looks exactly like those wing suit jumpers

Physics is the same I guess, but that bird does it with
more style. That was cool.
/u/squirrelems
Someone needs to sync this clip up to the chorus for
Kiss From A Rose.
/u/poolhaas
Pigeons aren't that subtle in taking off.
/u/DynamiteWitLaserBeam
Yeah around here they sound like an old man with
emphysema threw a leather coat into a ceiling fan.
/u/zehnodan
Some pigeons just woke me up because they want to bang.
I will not hit them, but I keep a stick to try and scare
then away because the sound is just awful.
/u/unluckypig
It's ok, I've been working on my bird watching skills
and can confidently confirm that this is indeed a bird.
/u/omnipotentqueue
Correct answer 🤘🏼
/u/Remarkable-Leader921
The reddit bot clickbait is getting more subtle
/u/pimpbot666
It has those white stripes on his wings like a
woodpecker.
/u/Hearthhull_Enjoyer
But it is engagement bait. Congrats. You took the bait.

I just commented this same Gif before scrolling down and
seeing that you already had. My first thought was of
Daniel Tosh playing this clip on Tosh.0 and then
immediately after saying "How fucking stupid do you have
to be?"
/u/vraimentaleatoire
I actually worked with this girl's dad and it was his
"one interesting thing about me" thing in a group intro
😂
/u/LetsTryAnal_ogy
Purposely misidentified for engagement. Congrats. We're
suckers.
/u/DudeBroMan13
If you're from Roshar, everything's a chicken.
/u/cinciNattyLight
I think birds have a lot more fun than we think.
/u/Flying_Mage
Maybe they do. But this is not about fun. This is
straight efficiency. You gain some speed in free fall
wasting zero energy and then just spread the wings and
glide.
/u/sellieba
And I bet it makes them feel cool as fuck.
/u/tarbasd
This reminds me of that joke I heard in Hungary. Let me
try to translate it.

The eagle and the hawk are playing a game: the smoke
some pot, then they throw themselves off of a cliff, and
they don't open their wing until the last moment, almost
crashing to the ground. The fox walks by, asking:

"What are you guys doing?"

"We are being cool."

All three of them get really high, they all jump off
the cliff. While falling in the air, the eagle asks the
fox:

"Hey Fox, do you have wings?"

"You are fucking cool as fuck!!!"
/u/jayoak4
There was probably a female bird right near him that he
was trying to impress (he did impress her).

/u/Intelligent-Survey39
There is also an incredible amount of wind being
funneled by the tall buildings. The air tight against
the buildings is slack right near the perch, and as the
bird is in free fall, but the moment after the wings
open the bird is lined up with the eddies and winds
sweeping down the streets. No wing flapping needed here,
just ride the air currents to the next perch.
/u/aqaba_is_over_there
"The world is full of power and energy and a person can
go far by just skimming off a tiny bit of it."
/u/altamiraestates
I, too, am tired of people underestimating how much fun
birds have
/u/Pestilence86
Well, it is fun going down the slide. But you also need
to get up the stairs again afterwards. Birds need to
spend energy ascending again too.

Unless they exploit the wind. Seagulls might have the
most fun.
/u/roostersnuffed
My money is on crows. High intelligence, highly social,
playful, always just doing shit.

"Yall want to go fuck with that hawk then sled on some
guys roof? Maybe we can befriend a human baby or a
golden retriever on the wa... OOH HEY, SHINY ROCK!"
/u/talontario
Crows seem smart enough to get depression.
/u/cinciNattyLight
You ever see birds riding thermal updrafts? They are
totally enjoying the shit out of it.
/u/Historical-Load6004
They abuse the Shit out of the Wind and Gravity, I mean
this Bird got alot of Speed by just falling abit, and
they Travel up without using Energy by Flying Next to
the Sunny side of a high Rise or mountain, the Sun heats
the Air which then travels up and the birds simply
Spread their Wings to Travel with
/u/Nocebola
That's a Myna bird dude.
/u/ahfuq
Major style points though.
/u/LongDead_Roadkill
Because myna's like to party and have fun.
