/u/SnackSamurai That's a cool shirt. |
/u/CorrectorThanU 'Kid Who Loves Awesome Sweater Gets Free Jersey' |
/u/comicsnerd Not at 32 Celsius / 90 Fahrenheit. |
/u/ace-destrier It's a cool Christmas sweater!
Not enough in the FIFA budget to spring for jerseys for
these kids?
It was actually Santiago Gimenez, one of the players on
the Mexican National Team, that arranged for this little
niño, Santi, to receive a jersey |
/u/Malditoincompredido Fifa prefers kids sewing the shirts |
/u/OkChance5466 You know you're right |
/u/Available-Track1461 Very funny 😂, sad and true |
/u/OldSea3040 It's the patriotism that counts ! Everyone knew whose
side he was on ! |
/u/MrsJan30 this here! right here |
/u/Remote_Scientist9634 Indeed it wasn't even noticable he has different shirt
because of the colour palette. |
/u/PerfectperformanceJC yesss, showing you are with the team! If the colours
match, it's meant to be. No questions asked. |
/u/Ben_Kenobi_ Im actually really confused. Does the north pole even
have a team? |
/u/Jelly_Muffins Me trying to blend in with the extroverts |
/u/AnastasiaNo70 Awww what a little sweetheart! |
/u/Casual-Netizen Similar instance to that Afghan Blue Plastic Bag boy |
/u/Malibu77 Never saw that story. Thx for sharing |
/u/Ketzis he looked at a green christmas sweater and went "close
enough, same colors" and honestly that's more team
spirit than half the people in real jerseys. kid's a
problem solver |
/u/Critical-Cost9068 Dawg his parents picked that for him. |
/u/Specialist-Toe-4438 acktually, they interviewed his mom, and she said they
didn't even notice why he chose that sweater until it
went viral. |
/u/Glum_Reason308 Bless his sweet heart! What an innovative little dude!
❤️❤️❤️ |
/u/Jolly_Ad2446 That Santa's sweater is awesome though. |
/u/schoolhouserock Reminds me of the Tennessee kid who got bullied for
drawing his University of Tennessee shirt. So UT made an
official one. |
/u/LauraLand27 What about the little girl next to him wearing a white
shirt? Why doesn't she get one? |
/u/JealousNetwork What about the girl in white? |
/u/ExternalAggravating8 Poor kid must of been hot. Glad to see a happy ending |
/u/kitzelbunks Actually, this sounds like something my mother would do.
It was good of them to send a jersey. 😊 |
/u/Dry_Jellyfish641 This kid is super viral in Mexico right now. Tickets to
the games, free jerseys, lots of interviews. Still, I
think this World Cup belongs to Merlin the Duck |
/u/muscularsharpie This is the coolest Mexico sweater ever. Not even being
ironic. |
/u/GeckoDeLimon Ya know, he got the spirit. |
/u/fakepyrite Hey! I saw a similar reel yesterday. School told
everyone to wear the tshirt of their fav university next
day and everyone did that but one kid didn't have that
much money so he just Sketchd the university logo with a
pencil in a paper and glued it in his shirt. At first
his friends laughed at him but after the teacher noticed
it, they become emotional and shared this incident on
the internet. And you guessed right, the university not
only gifted him many things along side the very tshirt
but they also started producing new tshirts with the
same logo the boy created! It is a wholesome story and
sorry for my bad english! |
/u/Wingnut8888 Aw it's the thought that counts kiddo. So cute and sad.
I'm glad he eventually got a jersey. |
/u/NoMembership8881 So beautiful. 😄 God bless his soul and precious
heart. ❤️ |
/u/SaveLansingParks Let's be honest, we've all been this kid before, he
nailed it |
/u/Inside_Enthusiasm_19 Santiago Giménez regala jersey a niño que se hizo
viral afuera del Centro de Alto Rendimiento - Infobae |
/u/AppointmentDry5676 The support is there. Great thinking. |
/u/Budskytol Honestly, good use of their marketing budget. Give away
1 jersey and you get 1 happy kid plus goodwill from
people hearing about the story. |
/u/corriefan1 Completely adorable! |
/u/WernerHerzogEatsShoe Bro needs to get on DH gate pronto! |
/u/TheNativeOfficial I thought I was reading "Able to track him hiw and sued
him over it" |
/u/Common-Concentrate-2 I was watching a video earlier today of a guy
parachuting in the Himalayas, and he was making an
unplanned landing in a random village. There were three
locals that rush over to him to see if he was ok, and
one of them is wearing a Miller Lite Christmas sweater.
All I could think was "...Thats a cool ass sweater" |
/u/johnsmith1234567890x That girls also does not have jersey...did they also
give her one? |
/u/MrLuverLuver25 Yea that's all well and good, but can he afford a ticket
to see his country play in the WC |
/u/Equal_Actuator_3777 So why does he get free stuff? That's ridiculous, plenty
of people don't have jerseys but he gets it for free.
Yeah alright. |
/u/KronoFury Why does an act of kindness upset you so much? |
/u/rep- Because it wasn't directed to them.. how dare someone
(other than me) receive gifts/compassion/kindness |
/u/rolL_uP_one_more He showed spirit, determination, creativity, resilience
and self confidence. That's impressive at a young age.
It's nice to see that kind of character rewarded. So he
got lucky that it was on an international stage. Just be
happy for him? |
/u/Critical-Cost9068 He did what? You know his parents choose his clothes,
right? Don't mind him getting a sweater but you said
some crazy shit right there. |
/u/NicholasConrad God forbid a little boy gets lucky one time in his life |
