Men's restrooms in the US have non private urinals.
Anyone who walks into a men's restroom in the US may see
a man's penis. Women's restrooms are exclusively
individual stalls with toilets.

If a little girl walks into a men's restroom with their
dad there is a chance of her and dad being exposed to a
strangers penis. If a little boy walks into a women's
restroom with their mom there is almost no chance him
and mom will be exposed to random genitalia.

Edit: to the comment doin a whatabout dads with little
boys, should they use the women's restroom? All I gotta
say is that I'm not the United States bathroom
architect. If it were up to me all bathrooms regardless
of gender would offer the bare minimum privacy for
everyone involved with individual stalls.

As a mom who brought her boy into women's restrooms, I
actually have zero issue with seeing men bringing their
little boys into women's restrooms because of the better
privacy conditions in women's restrooms. Maybe all
bathrooms should be gender neutral and offer stalls,
that's a really good point whatabouter.
/u/rodimus147
Yes officer he is washing his hands....... menacingly.
/u/watupmack
He took his two little girls to the bathroom and now
they are washing their hands!!
/u/Meshugugget
Sooo, what happens when Mr. Freakout's wife needs help
using the restroom? She's disabled and, I presume, may
need assistance one day. Does he help? What restroom do
they use? Does he call the police on himself? I have so
many questions!!
/u/ZoLoftFTW
Oh he's definitely a "Rules for thee, but not for mee."
fella.
/u/campingcritters
You can tell she was in a really big hurry to use the
restroom by the way no one took her to the restroom when
it was free.

"How do I know for sure, officer?... Well, that's
because I'm here too, standing in the doorway watching
the girls' bathroom"
/u/Bubsy7979
Weee woo, weeee woo... WEEE WOO, WEEE WOO!!!
/u/Joecascio2000
Aww, I love how the worker saw her moment to close the
door in him. She seems so nice.
/u/tippytapslap
She even said im so sorry lmao she seems like a good
egg.
/u/brianMMMMM
She reminds me of my mom. I love you mom.
/u/badgerj
Mee too! Miss you mom! And I have two little girls too!

I took them sometimes into the men's, sometimes to the
women's.

I don't know what the big deal is.

We're just there at this age to teach proper bathroom
etiquette and cleanliness.

I have no fucking idea what an issue is with a man
bringing his daughters into a stall on the men's side vs
the women's side.

Sometimes the men's side doesn't even have a fucking
change table!

Not that these ones need it, but ever think about that
fuck!??

And if you think AWESOME Dad! Thanks! You rock by the
way. Your girls are awesome. (Happy Father's Day)! If
you think this guyhad two lovely girls, who now think
that this is weird, to somehow infiltrate a female
washroom.... Is playing some executive long-game to
stare at women in a washroom....?? !!!

Boy the mental gymnastics that I would have to do to
get to your side of the fence, your conclusion would
solve the twin prime conjecture in one minutes per IQ
point your IQ.

And that's disingenuous not to your IQ but the actual
amount of work required to get there.

Did anyone just teach you to "stop being an asshole"?
Or did you skip that class?
/u/Mentirosa
Yeah, she was great. I appreciated her acting as a
barrier and apologizing to the father even though it
wasn't her fault.
/u/iamsobluesbrothers
So did the police come? What happened afterward?
/u/Fifteen_inches
The police probably didn't come because the business
owner is allowing him to use the restroom. Police hardly
even come for real crimes.
/u/GobiBall
For context, it's a Quick Trip bathroom. A gas station
convenience store.
/u/nailsinthecityyx
That's the part that killed me. It's not like he was in
a high-traffic ladies room. It was a Quick Trip

Gotta love a male Karen
/u/Stepane7399
Even if it was grand central station I'd support this.
This little girl has to go potty and should not have to
see a ton of man peens when headed to a stall and who
the heck knows what she would come across in a men's
room stall.
Any woman should understand this and be cool with it.
/u/TwoBionicknees
"we can't let trans men into bathrooms because men are
predators... now please take your little girls into the
predators room."

these people are both assholes and fucking stupid and
the actual men who harass people, are the guys like the
guy on the phone.
/u/redalert825
Fuck this guy and any guys or women that think this way.
I did this too and I used to get hella nervous bout it.
Then I said fuck that, I don't trust creepy ass dudes.
Bless this dad for keeping his composure. I'd have a
hard time doing that, even w my daughter around when
encountering such ignorance and snowflake bs.

https://giphy.com/gifs/6AiLWJpuzyBlMR22ox
/u/Diazepampoovey0229
I mean, no actual crime was committed here, either.
/u/krazykarlsig
I say this in the most dreadful kind of way but it
depends on which state.
/u/LogensTenthFinger
If the police came then the dude who called them could
hope for the best possible outcome of them not arresting
him for disorderly and false police report.
/u/tanhan27
It depends when you are a hammer, every problem is a
nail. The police are used to acting on behalf of the
accuser
/u/Mentirosa
No confirmation yet. He posted this video seven hours
ago and no updates since
/u/slothstevenson
Imagine actually showing up for this call lol I really
hope they told this guy in so many words to go about his
day and fuck off
/u/Traditional-Belle
Maybe the dad checked the bathrooms and took his girls
in the cleanest one
/u/ILuvSupertramp
Or the one that men don't freely enter
/u/Traditional-Belle
Right, it's surprising that anyone is upset at this
/u/alwaysiamdead
I'm a woman and have been in the bathroom when a dad
came in to change his baby and let his older girl has
the toilet. He was so apologetic, but no one in the
washroom cared. I never thought this would bother anyone
that much.
/u/iamsobluesbrothers
From the context at the end of the video with the two
women I'm assuming one of them went to use the bathroom
and she probably told dopey dumb fuck that there was a
man in the women's bathroom and he decided to create a
whole stink about it.
/u/alwaysiamdead
Yep the one made a rude comment too.
/u/MadMageMC
I don't think it ever would have it it weren't for Trump
and all the anti-trans bullshit he and his sycophants
love to stir up.
/u/Thoughtful-Boner69
i was so confused at first i thought it was a) not an
individual washroom at first and b) that was his wife
and the father busted in on her or something

this is just a psycho asshole being a dick
/u/bigmike2k3
She looked like she was almost in tears at how the
entitled dipshit was scaring the girls...
/u/gotchanose
I thought she was the man's wife and she was scowling at
the father in disgust / anger. How I was wrong and happy
too see how she acted
/u/Temporary_Peanut_586
Ditto; I had a complete misread on her role at the start
/u/SharkBait661
Well the guy is saying something about his wife not
being able to use the restroom so i too thought that was
the wife.
/u/thrillho613
The scowl she gives him as he leaves the bathroom is
great

/u/dwightsarmy
Perfect. I hope this woman sees this. We all applaud her
championish. She deserves all the clout.
/u/Junior_Moose_9655
She is of that special species of service worker that
will call you "sugar" or "hawney" and make at least 3.2
hours worth of bullshit melt off of you.
/u/Impossible_Leg_2787
She looked like she was bout to cry poor lady. Shes
practiced at it, can you imagine how many of these
assholes she has to deal with on a daily basis?
/u/MobileAssociation126
She did, thank God! I wouldn't have let my two young
daughters go into the restroom alone or with a stranger,
nope, sorry. He did nothing wrong. What an entitled
jerk! His elderly mother had to go to the bathroom, but
he's sitting there still recording and not taking her to
the bathroom now that they're out. Please! 🙄
/u/SunnyOnSanibel
This behavior also supports the girls and lets them know
that their father isn't doing anything wrong.
/u/Cerrac123
I thought at first that she wasn't going to let them
leave, so relieved that she was helpful and apologetic.
/u/TheZippoLab
When I'm president, I think I'll start deporting MAGAs.
/u/nipslippinjizzsippin
i thought that was his wife until then
/u/weekendgurl247
That poor girl is so scared and that asshole thinks he's
"protecting kids"
/u/dinkleberries59
He knows exactly what he's doing
/u/Impossible_Leg_2787
Gotta let that repressed anger out on any potential
target he can find. Long as they're smaller than them.
/u/Really_Clever
He thinks hes a hero.
/u/PickButtkins
... but not because of his actions in this video. He
believes he is the hero bc in his head he is the main
character and the lead is always the hero.

I have, unfortunately, known waaaay too many people
like this in my lifetime.
/u/Evening-Matter-5245
He's going to tell that story to everyone and then
they'll all know he's a huge asshole, if they don't
already.
/u/metanoia29
Yup, he's being the main character in his egotistical
mind
/u/GTAIVisbest
I think it's almost a tad worse than this. I think he
has a lot of repressed frustration and anger and taking
care of his elderly mother is not good for his mental
health, so he's deciding to bully this younger guy and
he enjoys causing fear in other people, especially the
guy's daughters, which I think this whole thing was an
excuse for him to bully the very young defenseless girls
/u/TitanicTardigrade
I mean maybe but that's a lot of context from nothing.
Sometimes people are just assholes to be assholes.
/u/trackstaar
He was doing it because his wife and mom needed to go to
the bathroom and refused to share it with a man but he
didn't think about the alternative which is the little
girls being forced to use the bathroom with grown men.
Men's bathrooms have open urinals and women's only have
private bathroom stalls so I don't even see what the
problem is
/u/superluminal
The problem is the man is a dick. He's getting hard with
the rushing blood of his own self-righteousness.
/u/chronicpenguins
the whole family are dicks, including the women with
him. This wouldnt be an issue if they patiently waited
or god forbid use the bathroom stall while they wash
their hands. Do they really think some guy is going to
invade their privacy or sexually assault them with two
little girls and a gas station full of people outside?
/u/JoinTheBattle
Do they really think

No, they don't. They saw a man in the women's restroom
and there were no thoughts beyond their excitement over
getting to act out their little MAGA fantasy.
/u/drunklollipop
I also love how urgent it was for them to use the
bathroom, yet once the guy is out, no one using it, the
hate and the argument was the main drive, not their
bladders
/u/Thoughtful-Boner69
he's a fuckin lunatic
/u/Diazepampoovey0229
No he doesn't. He doesn't care about their needs in the
slightest. The woman and her mother you see when the guy
and his kids leave were hitching about not being able to
go in the bathroom (they obviously could), and old
assclown decided this was his moment To be a knight in
rusted aluminum. You could hear them trying to complain
again when the employee went by, trying to escort the
man and his girls outside safely.
/u/tastelikemexico
And it didn't look like the 2 older women needed to use
the restroom too bad either because when the man left
the restroom they stayed out there bitching instead of
rushing to the restroom lol
/u/Bowman_van_Oort
I wonder who he voted for lmao
/u/FunkmasterFo
Going to guess the man that bragged about barging into
little girls dressing rooms
/u/_AskMyMom_
How high are the chances that the old bastards kids,
don't talk to him?

I'm gonna say, with certainty, it's 100%
/u/JimmyPellen
Well...thats cos of those violent video games and devil
rock n roll music. And the facegram
/u/The_Nice_Marmot
He does not think that's what he's doing. He likes when
little girls go in the men's room. Maybe so he can flash
them. What a sicko.
/u/Mentirosa
Technically that jerk was in the women's restroom too,
and he scared the kids, made one cry for no reason. No
decent, reasonable person would care about a parent
helping their children in either restroom.
/u/CptAngelo
also, as far as im concerned, using a bathroom is not a
reason to call the police
/u/Mentirosa
Never a good reason. It's so ridiculous. I'm tired of
these people.
/u/cdvallee
MAGA. They're MAGA. Don't be afraid to call them out. I
see it all the time here in Texas.
/u/auxtime
Maga is the republican party. These are republicans.
Don't separate them, and don't let them forget.
/u/Mentirosa
Definitely MAGA. They should all be called out. I'm in
Texas too, and I am exhausted.
/u/Temporary_Peanut_586
Same DB calling the cops would probably use the women's
room in an emergency and assert it's completely fine

Bathroom politics are bizarre. In my area some
bathrooms just advertise their facilitates on the doors
(stalls and/or urinals)--which when you think about it
is kinda practical.
/u/Educational_Zone1750
I think everyone, including the police saw right thru
all his petty bullshit.
/u/Lynjamin08
As soon as that moron said there is a man in the women's
restroom with his two little girls I bet the dispatcher
checked out entirely.
/u/jasandliz
They should've sent the cops to cite the caller
/u/Jaew96
I'm a guy, and back when I was about those girls' age my
mom would take me into the women's bathroom if I ever
needed to go. I wonder what this asshole would've had to
say about that?
/u/alwaysiamdead
Yup, my son went with me to the women's bathroom when he
was that age. And I've had a dad bring his daughter into
the women's bathroom along with his baby cause the men's
didn't have a change table. It's pretty normal to have
to do that when you have little kids
/u/Michigoose99
I was waiting in line to use a women's restroom when an
older woman with her full-grown son (he clearly had
severe mental disabilities) asked everyone waiting if we
were okay with her escorting her son into the bathroom
to help him. It broke my heart that she felt like she
needed to ask our permission to do so but of course we
all told her it was fine and also insisted that she and
her son skip the line.

People who want to be Bathroom Police frighten me. Mind
your own business and count your blessings.
/u/cgray715
Do you remember the pearl clutching that happened in
America when changing tables started being installed in
men's rooms?!? You would have thought they were being
castrated.
/u/Optimusphine
When I had a baby in diapers, I'd use the women's room
all the time when the men's room didn't have a changing
table. Anytime I got flack for it, I'd just tell them to
ask the owners to put a changing table in the men's room
too.
/u/GothSpite
Well and I am guessing dad didn't want his girls to have
to deal with the men's restroom and risk possibly seeing
a bunch of penises.

Places like this almost always require a bathroom key,
dude face is weird AF.
/u/Another_Russian_Spy
Well they did end up seeing a giant dick.
/u/_AskMyMom_
Great time to have a civilized conversation with his
kids. Explain to them that even though he's an adult,
adults sometimes act like children. Life lesson for the
kids in a positive way.

We can cry, and yes those are our feelings, but what we
don't do is act like that old man who is afraid to
express himself.

Just straight up make an example out of him.
/u/RangeBow8
As a girl dad my wife has told me to always take her to
the women's restroom. It's a far better scenario for me
to say I'm a man bringing in my daughter to have my
daughter in a men's room with urinals and dongs out.
/u/irrelephantIVXX
And, even though it was only "brushing his shirt" in the
words of Billy Madison "That's assualt brother"
/u/busdrivermike
Isn't the whiny man bitch also in the women's bathroom?
/u/DonTequilo
He is and he's actually harassing people in there.
/u/ABCosmos
Not just "People".. He literally went in there and
terrified a little girl and made her cry.. this is a
little girl who needed to use the bathroom. Just
ordinary Republican things.
/u/brobrosidon
good on the manager for stepping up. what a fucking
weirdo.
/u/dad_jokesNbutt_stuff
She should have trespassed him for harassing another
patron.
/u/brobrosidon
agreed, can't see how the rest of it shook out so we
can't rule that out. I lean towards the opinion that
most situations like this are more of conflict avoidance
and de-escalation than a matter of right and wrong. to
many nuts with access to firearms for me to want to get
wordy with a moron who is obviously too stupid to reason
with. just my two cents.
/u/Living_Pie205
I would assume it's a tough decision for a dad that has
a daughter....either take her to the guys bathroom or
the woman's bathroom....any parent would just clear the
way and gave him some space and privacy.
/u/AndromedaFire
I was a single dad with full custody years back and in
many places the only baby changing area was inside the
women's toilet so you'd have to ask staff to clear it
out just so I could change a nappy.
/u/The0neKid
Yep, and then when my daughter was old enough to go in
use the restroom by herself but still too young for me
to trust to be alone, there was more than a few times I
had to ask random moms to help make sure she made it out
safe because I didn't feel comfortable bringing her in
the men's room and the public place was just too crowded
to ask everyone to not use a bathroom
/u/bubblegumbombshell
Last fall I had some random Target employee come up to
me because I was a mom out shopping with her two
preschoolers and asked if I thought it was appropriate
for a dad to take his toddler daughter into the
bathroom. Target guy seemed to think the man should've
asked a strange woman to take the 3yo in for him. I told
the guy that I don't know why he's asking me but that
man could've taken his daughter into any of the three
bathroom options so she could use the toilet and I
wouldn't bat an eye.

It's like dads are set up to fail at parenting in
public.
/u/The0neKid
Yea, but for an example I go to a lot of minor league
sports games with my daughters, some nights with larger
crowds I didn't feel comfortable bringing my daughter in
the men's room, or asking the 50 women not to use the
women's room so me as 1 guy can go in there without
making anyone uncomfortable. This was a few years ago
before family restrooms were commonly designated, so I
felt the most comfortable option for everyone there was
asking a random mom to help, worst that can happen is
she says no and I ask another mom, in other situations
the worst case is being berated for trying to be a dad
like the guy in the video
/u/bubblegumbombshell
Totally understandable and that makes sense for an older
kid. Even these girls look like they might've been old
enough to go in on their own, but that's totally the
dad's call and I don't think he was in the wrong.
According to Mr. Nosy Target Employee, the girl was
about the age of my kids who were 2 & 4. I don't think a
preschooler is old enough to be sent into a public
bathroom solo. And the Target guy's attitude was on par
with the jerk in this video, so I was kinda over the
idea of having a nuanced discussion by that point.
/u/BYCjake
It literally looks like that's what happened here seeing
as there was a staff member in with them. He mentioned
his mother (?) the lady in the walker/chair needed to
use the toilet, so I'm guessing they just didn't want to
wait and as soon as he realised a man was in there
decided that was his excuse to try get his way.
/u/LogensTenthFinger
That happened to me a few times, the women were always
100% supportive wherever I went, though
/u/MYSTICALLMERMAID
As a woman I would not give a shit. Im not sending my
kif alone into a bathroom or bringing her to the men's
/u/powderbubba
I'm a woman and I agree wholeheartedly. This man is just
trying to make sure his daughters stay safe and empty
their bladders! You can tell from a mile away he isn't a
creep and just wants to get in and get out and back on
the road. This is so fucked up and I hope that entitled
asshole barks up the wroooong tree very soon.
/u/williamjamesmurrayVI
Yeah it's not a tough choice. Guys have their dicks out
at urinals. He made the easy choice, don't expose your 6
year old to random old man dick
/u/OrneryError1
I've seen dad take little girls into the men's room and
never cared. I also wouldn't care if a woman brought a
little boy into the men's room. Being a parent is hard
enough without other people making it harder for no
reason.
/u/scttlvngd
This. More likely a man will be a creep to those little
girls than a woman have any issue with a father taking
his daughters into the women's room. Exhibit A: the
creep on the phone.
/u/IttsssTonyTiiiimme
Yeah, I would take my daughter to the men's room. One
time a guy made comment. He said her mother should take
her to the woman's room. I said her mom ain't here, what
are we going to do. He was saw it was a pickle.
/u/Express_Coyote_4000
He should have seen his way to keeping his mouth shut
/u/OrneryError1
"She would if she was still alive."

https://giphy.com/gifs/96DeW8wUdpN96
/u/moseisley99
When my daughters were under 5, I still always went to
the men's rooms. It wasn't often but you have to do it
sometimes when mom isn't around. At around 6 or so I
trusted them to go by themselves to the womens and I
would wait outside. I also would not call the cops on
anyone. Weird situation. Just let them be.
/u/meatywood
He likely made sure the coast was clear before entering
with the children so nobody was harmed.
/u/inhumanfriday
I have this exact problem with my daughter. She's too
old and I don't feel comfortable taking her into the
men's room anymore, and she's not confident enough to go
to the women's on her own. I try to find a
disabled/accessible toilet where I can but its not
always possible, so I either stand close to the women's
bathroom door while she runs in or she just has to hold.
/u/pdx74
You know what helps in situations like this? Gender
neutral restrooms. I'm sure the guy calling the cops
would agree, right? Oh, wait...
